The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) had declared that it’s warming strike might end on Saturday 14 May, 2022.
As such, all Universities academic activities will likely resume Monday 16th May 2022.

University Resumption Date After ASUU Strike 2022
Every concerned Nigerian Universities Students are hereby informed that all universities activities are scheduled to restart as shown below.
Monday 16th May 2022.
Prior to the calling off of the ASUU industrial strike action, all students are hereby advised to prepare for the resumption of academic activities.
Meanwhile, the actual dates scheduled for the resumption of academic activities has been disclosed as shown below.
Also note that each university has the liberty to schedule their own reopening date to suit their schedules.
What is the New Resumption Date for Schools in Nigeria?
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) had declared that it’s warming strike will be called off on Saturday 14 May, 2022.
As such, all academic activities in the universities may start from Monday 16th May 2022. 16th May 2022 is the approved reopening/resumption date for all Universities.
This date also include all tertiary institutions in Nigeria that were affected by the sudden academic break.
