P-YES applicants will soon know their fate in coming days as application processes have ended to pave way for the next selection phase.
As reliably informed, P-YES management has initiated the phase for shortlist of applicants for the programme. All applicants who will be on the next phase would be contacted through the email address submitted while applying.
P-YES Verification.
All shortlisted applicants would need to undergo a verification processes before they could gainfully benefits from P-YES. Applicants may undertake a verification processes similar to npower Programme.
Such applicants shortlisted could undergo biometric verification to proof their authenticity.
This will take place before the May ending.
About P-YES
On the 12th of October 2020, The President and Commander in Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari officially launched the Presidential Youth Empowerment Scheme (P-YES) in the Presidential Villa, as a sustainable response mechanism to the growing challenges of unemployment, youth restiveness and poverty among the fast growing youth population.

WHY P-YES?
- There exists in Nigeria a large army of youth who have attained the status of economic hopelessness and despondency.
- These vulnerable youth have become ready resources for the propagation of criminal activities.
- Successive empowerment programmes seem to have excluded this category of Nigerian youth.
- P-YES is designed to capture this excluded category of youth who are in urgent need of immediate intervention and rescue.
MISSION.
Strengthen and unleash the potential of youth’s participation in the mainstream economy by raising the value and the profile of youth participation in national economy and designing support programmes suitable to this end.
