SEIFAC NEWS UPDATE 17/06/2022 ABOUT DISBURSEMENT, SCHEDULE DATE FOR ALL PROGRAM CONCERNING SEIFAC
The Smallholder Agriculture Commission (ACC) has complained to some members of the group who are planning to protest against the slow release of funds by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
This is contained in a statement signed by SEIFAC national program coordinator, Mr. Patrick Abur, and presented to SEIFAC media on Tuesday in Abuja.
The statement added: “We are using this platform to inform some members of SEIFAC who are planning to start an industrial project by disrupting the activities of Heritage Bank.
“We want to make it clear that Heritage Bank is responsible for opening accounts and documents for members and not the financiers. CBN is the sponsor of Anchor Borrower’s Program (ABP).

The announcement calls on members to visit any Heritage branch across the country to activate their SEIFAC / Heritage Bank ATM card. He added: “Members should be patient as we approach victory as embracing violence or protests could jeopardize the long-awaited struggle.
