 Step 1: Registering on Amazon KDP

Step 2: Setting up an ebook in Amazon KDP

Once you have registered on Amazon KDP and set up your book with the correct title, author name and genre, it’s time to upload your manuscript. You can do this by going to Manage Your Content and Downloads from your Author Central dashboard page.
Here you will see a list of all the books that are currently live on Kindle Direct Publishing, along with their prices and other information such as their number of pages and their status (active or deleted). You can click on any book in this list to go into details about it.

 Step 1: Sign up for an account on https://kdp.amazon.com/en_US/.

Step 2: Select the “Create a new book” option from the Kindle Direct Publishing home page.
Step 3: Fill out all required information, including title and subtitle, as well as the number of pages and price range. We recommend using a price range of $0.99 – $2.99 for books priced under $9.99. Once you’ve entered your information, click “Create Account Now.”
Step 4: On the next page, enter your author details (name, email address, etc.) and choose whether to upload a cover image or not. If you’re uploading a cover image, upload it here and then return to step 5 once it’s uploaded successfully (it may take 20 minutes).
